Leron was glad the second journey was shorter and a little more direct, as his paws and fur were scratched and smeared with the forest mud, leaves and twigs. This time, they found a clearing near a rocky cliff, where a clearly unnatural cave opening lying opposite their group. Sarcastically, Leron asked the Zorua if he was trying hard enough to make it look like a kind of trap.
"Hu-hey! I'm telling the truth! There IS an egg in there, and it IS abandoned! That's an Aggron's lair, and it eats eggs that it steals from others in this forest! It…it's not right! Even I know that!"
Leron was slightly taken aback by the Zorua's passionate response. He knew that it was going to be dangerous regardless of the truth in those words, and there was no one in the group who he would want to risk the safety of…it was going to have to be him who went into that cave.
Min was scared by Leron's determination as he crept into the darkness of the cave. There was no noise for maybe five minutes, then ten minutes. Just as Min was about to follow her partner into the light swallowing darkness, a thundering roar filled the clearing, and an injured, frightened, but definitely alive Leron ran from the blackness, clutching something pale blue in the folds of his scarf. At this sight and noise, the Zorua sprinted to the trees, motioning with his tail for the others to follow him. Min instead ran to Leron, swiftly gripping him beneath his arms and knees, and ran to follow, holding her partner in a cradling position. She vanished from the clearing as the head of an enormous Aggron began to emerge from the pitch black cave, roaring in pure rage as the five Pokémon vanished into the dark, thick forest.
They ran for half an hour, until the cries of the Aggron faded into the distance. Many times the Zorua halted and sent copies of the running company in another direction, before sprinting ahead once more. Fraise saw Leron pass in and out of consciousness, a large gash upon his chest weeping blood and fluid constantly as Min ran with him in her arms. Finally, they reached an open pathway, and saw, not too far off, the stealthy procession of the group of rescuers and merchants towards an open clearing, which revealed a large Zoroark meditating in front of the chained Jasmine. Fraise couldn't help but sigh with relief; the young Zorua had kept their deal to the end. She turned to thank him, but merely caught a brief sight of his tail disappearing into the thick forest. She motioned to call out, but Sulien shot her a look to keep silent; they couldn't alert the Zoroark to anyone's presence, Jasmine's life was in the balance. The three of them still standing then moved slowly towards the larger group once more, tired, but ready to help save the Celebi. Min disappeared rapidly into the crowd with her partner, attempting to find a healer or medical team, while Fraise and Sulien sat at the back together, waiting for the signal to appear for the attack.
